BC Eagle men stifled by Syracuse


SYRACUSE, N.Y. Ė The No. 15-ranked Boston College menís teamís offense struggled as the Eagles fell, 2-0, to No. 5-rated Syracuse in an ACC match at SU Soccer Stadium Friday night.

The Eagles (4-2-0 overall, 1-1-0 ACC) were limited to one shot on goal and failed to attempt a shot in the second half as they were shut out for the first time this season. Jonathan Hagman (50th minute) and Kenny Lassiter (74th) scored for the Orange (7-0-0, 2-0-0).

Senior Isaac Normesinu took BCís first shot, a 16th-minute attempt saved by Hendrik Hilpert. Freshman Younes Boudadi and senior Zeiko Lewis also got off attempts for the Eagles.
