NEWTON, Mass. -- Seniors Zeiko Lewis and Maximilian Schulze-Geisthovel scored twice as the Boston College menís team took a 5-3 win over Albany in a non-conference match at the Newton Campus Field Tuesday.
Lewis added his 25th career assist, moving within one of the BC (5-2-0) record set by Louis Papadellis from 1977-80.
Albany (3-3-1) took a 2-0 lead as Carlos Clark headed in a Moosah Khanat corner kick in 25th-minute and Leo Melgarís 42nd-minute penalty kick.
Schulze-Geisthovel cut the halftime deficit to 2-1 with a 44th-minute penalty kick earned by Isaac Normesinu. BC tied the score as Simon Enstrom finished a give-and-go with Normesinu. Lewis then found Schulze Geisthovel for a 68th-minute score and a 3-2 advantage before scoring his first goal of the game off a rebound after Enstrom and Trevor Davock shots had been saved in the 75th minute.
Albany cut the deficit as Afonso Pinheiro finished a Nico Solabarrieta cross in the 83rd minute. Then, Lewis scored his second goal, chipping from 25 yards, in the final seconds.
