BC men blanked by UConn
STORRS, Conn. -- The Boston College menís teamís scoring struggles continues as the Eagles lost, 1-0, in extra time to UConn in a non-conference match at Joseph J. Morrone Stadium Tuesday night.
The Eagles (6-5-2) lost their third successive game by shutout and have scored only twice in the last six games. Dylan Greenbergís 100th-minute goal off assists from Abdou Mbacke Thiam and Kwame Awuah decided the match as UConn (11-4-0) outshot the Eagles, 14-5.
BC produced shots on goal by Younes Boudadi in the 60th minute and Simon Enstrom in the 76th minute.
