BU Terrier men clipped by Crimson

ALLSTON, Mass. -- The Boston University men's team rallied late in falling, 3-1, to Harvard in a non-conference match at Jordan Field Tuesday night.

Harvard (4-3-1) took a 1-0 halftime lead as Christian Sady chipped into the far side of the net over senior Matt Gilbert from near the end line on the left in the 44th minute. The Crimson upped the advantage as Jake Freeman scored in the 51st minute off a failed clearance.

BU (3-3-1), outshot, 6-1, in the opening half, cut the deficit as senior Felix De Bona was brought down on an attempted header off a Jerry Ozor cross, earning a penalty kick and converting in 71st minute. The Terriers attempted 12 shots in the second half, a 78th-minute header from freshman Matt McDonnell and a 79th-minute Ozor shot saved by Kyle Parks.

The Crimson’s Matthew Glass scored on a counter in the 87th minute.
