BU women rally past Lehigh

BETHLEHEM, Pa. -- Sophomore McKenna Doyle’s 90th-minute goal gave the Boston University women’s team a 2-1 win over Lehigh in a Patriot League match at the Ulrich Sports Complex Saturday.

Doyle scored from close range off a feed from junior Hannah Wilcox as the Terriers (5-10-1 overall, 5-1-0 PL) improved their unbeaten streak to six games.

Lehigh (8-4-2, 2-3-1) took the lead as Sabrina Mertz scored into the top far corner of the net off an Annika Jansa throw-in in the 52nd minute, snapping the Terriers’ four-match, 411 consecutive minute shutout streak in league games.

Rachel Bloznalis equalized off a Jesse Shreck free kick in the 53rd minute.
