Felix De Bonaís 18th-minute goal made the difference as the Boston University menís team snapped a five-match winless streak with a 1-0 victory over Lafayette in a Patriot League match at Nickerson Field Saturday.

The Terriers (4-5-2 overall, 1-2-2 PL) broke the deadlock as junior David Amirianiís long pass sent De Bona in alone, De Bona avoiding a charging Brad Seeber to score his third goal in the last two games and sixth of the season. In the 27th minute, Matt Gilbert dove right to stop a low penalty kick by Lafayette (6-7-1, 2-3-0) leading scorer Evan Vare. Gilbert made nine saves, including an 86th-minute stop on Vare at the right post.
