WORCESTER, Mass. -- Anthony Viteri (18th minute) and Felix De Bona (84th) scored as the Boston University menís team took a 2-0 win over Holy Cross in a Patriot League and Turnpike Trophy match at the Linda Johnson Smith Soccer Stadium Wednesday night.

Senior Matt Gilbert (four saves) was named the Turnpike Trophy most valuable player as BU (6-6-2 overall, 2-3-2 PL) snapped an eight-game road winless streak. The Terriers were outshot, 20-14, by the Crusaders (5-8-3, 1-3-3).

Viteri scored his sixth goal of the season, finishing inside the right post off a pass from Matt McDonnell, the sequence started on a Jerry Ozor interception.
