LEWISBURG, Pa. -- The three-time defending champion Boston University women’s team fell, 2-1, in extra time to Bucknell in a Patriot League tournament final rematch at Emmitt Field Sunday.

The Terriers (9-11-1), who had a 10-match unbeaten streak snapped, had been 11-0-1 in title games since 2000.

Bucknell (16-1-2) took the lead as Maddie Mulford finished an Alexis Gannon flick on of a Meghan Holtz cross in the 51st minute. Freshman Ann Marie Jaworski equalized off a McKenna Doyle cross in the 52nd minute, her first career goal. Cora Climo then flicked in cross inside the right post off a Jackie Ham cross in the 95th minute.
