MEN'S COLLEGE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Dartmouth Big Green defender Wyatt Omsberg
Dartmouth captured its third successive Ivy League title this season and will take a 280 consecutive minute shutout streak into the NCAA Menís Championship this week. And junior defender Wyatt Omsberg has been the only Dartmouth player to start every game as the back line provides the key to the Big Greenís success.
Omsberg, the New England Soccer News Men's Player of the Week for the week ending Nov. 13, helped the Big Green take a 2-0 win over Brown, upping its league record to 5-1-1. Dartmouth earned the post-season bid by taking a 1-0 win over Columbia at Rocco B. Commisso Soccer Stadium Oct. 22, the Lionsí only home defeat of the season.
Omsberg, an all-Ivy League first teamer last season, has helped the Big Green total six shutouts, only once surrendering more than one goal in a game, in a 2-2 tie at Princeton Oct. 1.
