Northeastern men tripped by Temple

PHILADELPHIA -- The Northeastern men's team finished with a road trip split, falling to Temple, 3-0, at the Temple Sports Complex Sunday.

Khori Bennett, Khesanio Hall and Brendan Massie produced Northeastern's four shots. Temple (4-0-0) took 16 shots, eight on goal.

Jorge Gomez Sanchez sent a 24th-minute free kick past Jonathan Thuresson, then hit the post in the 41st minute. George McGee’s 42nd-minute score gave the Owls a 2-0 halftime edge. Northeastern (1-2-0), which defeated Saint Joseph’s, 1-0, in coach Chris Gbandi’s debut Friday, then surrendered a 56th-minute goal to Kevin Klett.
