NEWARK, Del. -- The Northeastern men's team lost its second successive game, a 4-0 decision to Delaware in a Colonial Athletic Association match at Stuart & Suzanne Grant Stadium Saturday night.

Northeastern (2-6-0 overall, 1-1-0 CAA) totaled two shots on goal and four attempts, by Lewis Arid, Daniel Arvidsson, Christian McKenna and Khesanio Hall.

Ben Sampson scored twice, giving Delaware (7-2-0, 2-0-0 CAA) the lead as he finished the rebound after Thomas de Villardi hit the post in the 60th minute. In the 63rd minute, Fede Prieto ran onto a Guillermo Delgado header for a one-timer that deflected in off Jonathan Thuresson after a long cross from Dani Laguna. In the 69th minute, Sampson headed in a de Villardi corner. The Huskies played with a numerical disadvantage after Chris Scatterday was ejected following a second caution in the 79th minute, and Carlos Perales scored off a turnover in the 89th minute.
