Providence tripped by Clemson Tigers

CLEMSON, S.C. -- The Providence College menís team rallied on a late Julian Gressel goal in falling, 2-1, to No. 3 Clemson in a non-conference match Sunday.

Diego Campos netted in the 31st and 60th minutes.

Gressel tallied his second goal of the season in the 80th minute, converting from long range. Providence (0-2-0) continued to threaten, earning three corners in the 84th minute.

The Tigers (2-0-0) outshot the Friars, 19-4. Ben Seguljic collected seven saves.
