Providence men halted by Georgetown Hoyas

PROVIDENCE, R.I. -- The Providence College menís team was shut out for the first time this season, falling, 1-0, to Georgetown in both teamsí Big East Conference opener Saturday night.

The Friars (4-3-0, 0-1-0), who had a four-game winning streak snapped, threatened in the third minute as Braden Klineís shot off a Julian Gressel feed was saved by JT Marcinkowski.

In the 54th minute Brett Campbell headed a Christopher Lema free kick past Ben Seguljic for the Hoyas (2-5-0, 1-0-0).
