EYES ON THE GAME
USA-Argentina most watched men's match in FS1 history

LOS ANGELES – The Copa America Centenario semifinal between the United States and top-ranked Argentina delivered 3,290,000 viewers on FS1 Tuesday night, according to Nielsen Media Research.

Those numbers put FS1 first in prime time for cable and ranked as FS1’s third most-watched soccer match and the most-watched men’s soccer match in the network’s history.

The game also set a record for FOX Sports GO as its most-viewed authenticated event in history with more 228,000 unique streamers, beating out the 2015 Women’s World Cup Final between the USA and Japan by 10 percent (207,000 unique streamers).

The Argentines’ win over the Americans secured Lionel Messi and his teammates a spot in Sunday's final at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, N.J. where they will face the winner of the Colombia-Chile semifinal, hoping to end a 23-year major trophy drought.

The USA will play the loser of the other semifinal in Glendale, Ariz. on Saturday night.
