NEW YORK COSMOS 3, JACKSONVILLE ARMADA 0
HEMPSTEAD, N.Y.---Andres Flores had a goal and an assist to lead the New York Cosmos to a 3-0 win over the Jacksonville Armada FC in front of 3,827 fans at Shuart Stadium Wednesday night.

New York got on the board first in the 27th minute when Flores took a through ball from Lucky Mkosana (3-0-0, 9 pts) from inside the penalty area and put the ball past a diving Armada goalkeeper Sean Lewis off one touch. Then in the 34th, Flores struck again, this time assisting David Diosa in front of the goal on a cross from the right wing to make it 2-0.

Adam Moffat extended the Cosmos’ lead to 3-0 when he connected on a blast from outside the penalty area that hit inside the upper left of the net. Jacksonville’s (1-1-1, 4 pts) best attempt at avoiding the shutout came in the second minute of stoppage time when Junior Sandoval ran on to a Jason Plumhoff cross, but it was stopped by Cosmos goalkeeper Jimmy Maurer.

RAYO OKC 2, PUERTO RICO FC 2
YUKON, Okla.--Rayo OKC scored twice in the game’s final 10 minutes to erase a two-goal deficit and tie Puerto Rico FC, 2-2, at Miller Stadium on Wednesday night.

Héctor Ramos scored his third goal in as many games, giving Puerto Rico FC (0-2-2, 2 points) the lead in the 34th minute. The Puerto Rico international side-footed a cross from Pedro Mendes past Rayo OKC (1-0-2, 5) goalkeeper Daniel Fernandes. PRFC doubled the score in the 55th minute when Tyler Rudy pounced on a defensive mishap and buried a right-footed shot inside the post.

With Puerto Rico looking like it was on the way to its first ever victory, Rayo OKC cut the lead in half when Sebastian Velasquez scored in the 83rd minute following a scramble in front of the PRFC goal. With time running down, Rayo OKC’s Billy Forbes was fouled in the penalty area and Michel buried his third penalty kick of the year to tie the game.
