NASL ROUNDUP
Strikers, OKC draw 1-1

FORT LAUDERDALE STRIKERS 1, RAYO OKC 1
YUKON, Okla.---Second half goals by Maicon Santos for Fort Lauderdale and Michel for Rayo OKC resulted in a 1-1 tie in front of 1,812 fans at Miller Stadium Sunday night.

The draw extends the Strikers unbeaten string to seven matches and propels Fort Lauderdale into a three-way tie with Florida rivals Miami FC and the Tampa Bay Rowdies for 5th place in the NASL Combined standings. All three clubs have an 8-8-8 record for 32 points in the Combined table in their chase for a postseason position.

The Strikers opened the scoring when Ramon Nunez drew a dangerous free kick in the 61st minute. Nunex sent a curling ball into the penalty area where Rayo goalkeeper Daniel Fernandes saved the swerving effort. However, the ball fell right to Santos who finished to make it 1-0. It was his sixth goal of the year and his second in as many matches.

Rayo OKC tied the match after Billy Forbes was clipped from behind Rayo Captain Michel calmly slotted the spot kick home in the 83rd minute to tie the match 1-1.
