Boston City FC has re-signed midfielder Homero Morais, last seasonís leading scorer, the team announced Monday.
Morais, 25, from Somerville, totaled seven goals, and had a three-game scoring streak during Boston Cityís nine-game unbeaten run on the way to qualifying for the NPSL playoffs.

Morais, who played for New England Revolution Academy teams, was a four-year starter and three-year captain at Somerville High School and was named to the America East second team and NSCAA All-East second team.
Boston Cityís attack will feature Isaac Nana Addai, who tied for the NPSL scoring lead with 18 goals in 15 matches for the Rhode Island Reds last year; plus Yaw Addow, the 2016 National Premier Soccer League joint top scorer Isaac Nana, plus Yaw Addow, Jhonata Batista, Kevin Herrera and Darlan Rocha.
"Homero is a player who has several impressive characteristics, great control of the ball, good technical quality and is intelligent, fast and strong, besides being a great professional and person," Boston City coach Palhinha said. "He always delivers in training and games. I'm very happy that he is still a Boston City FC player."
