HOUSTON -- Kristen Edwards scored a late goal to give the Orlando Pride their first road win, 1-0 over the Houston Dash at BBVA Compass Stadium Friday.

The Pride (4-2-2, 12 points) moved into second place with its third successive shutout victory. Houston falls to 2-2-1, 7 points.

Edmonds broke through in the 82nd minute on a shot from the top of the penalty arc, scoring off the underside of the crossbar off a pass from Lianne Sanderson.

Kealia Ohai had one of Houstonís best scoring opportunities in the 20th minute when she dribbled into the box and shot towards goal but her effort hit the outside of the net at the near post.

Pride goalkeeper Ashlyn Harris extended her shutout streak to 295 minutes since May 1 in Chicago. Harris saved five shots, punching away a second-half chance from Stephanie Ochs from close range.
