WESTERN NEW YORK FLASH 7, BOSTON BREAKERS 1
ROCHESTER, N.Y. -- Jess McDonald had three goals and an assist, and Lynn Williams added two goals and an assist as the Western New York Flash routed the Boston Breakers 7-1 at Rhinos Stadium Friday night.

The Flash (6-4-0, 18 points) struck in the 19th minute, Lynn Williams scoring from the top of the penalty area past Jami Kranich. In the 28th minute, Jess McDonald found the top corner of the net for a 2-0 lead.

The Breakers (1-8-1, 4 points) had chances before pulling to within one on Christen Westphal’s first professional goal, inside the far post in the 38th minute.

The Flash took a 5-1 halftime lead as Williams (39th) and McDonald (43rd) scored again, then Makenzy Doniak converted in stoppage time.

McDonald (49th) scored her third goal of the match and Taylor Smith (63rd) converted the final goal.
