Santos Laguna held top-seeded Tigres to a 1-1 draw in Wednesday's Liguilla quarterfinal first leg at Estadio TSM Corona.

The scoring was over early. Javier Orozco gave the Guerreros a 1-0 lead from just inside the penalty area in the 16th minute, after Djaniny forced a defensive turnover, and Joffre Guerron right-footed the all-important road goal for Tigres in the 28th.

The series concludes Saturday at Estadio Universitario.

Daniel Villalba relayed the ball into the center of the penalty area for Albin.
Queretaro's Brazilian star atoned for his error in the 38th minute, setting the table as William drew the Gallos Blancos level.

Corona snatched the win with a header after Sinha's shot rebounded off the crossbar.
