MIAMI--U.S. Soccer President Sunil Gulati is one of two candidates for the position of FIFA Executive Committee Member from North America.

He is also a candidate for CONCACAF Executive Committee Member from North America. The two positions are the only ones being contested in upcoming CONCACAF elections that have multiple candidates. The terms run from 2013-2017.

Former CONCACAF secretary Chuck Blazer was formerly the region's representative on the FIFA Executive Committee. Mexico's Justino Compeán is running against Gulati for the FIFA seat, while Canada's Victor Montagliani is running for the CONCACAF seat.

The elections will take place during the XXVIII CONCACAF Ordinary Congress, to be held on Friday, April 19, 2013, in Panama City, Panama.

CONCACAF Executive Committee Vice President from Central America, Alfredo Hawit (HON) - Unopposed

CONCACAF Executive Committee Vice President from the Caribbean, Horace Burrell (JAM) - Unopposed

CONCACAF Executive Committee Member from Central America, Eduardo Li (CRC) - Unopposed

CONCACAF Executive Committee Member from the Caribbean, Luis Hernandez (CUB) - Unopposed
