McInerney, 20, who is fourth among Major League Soccer goal-scorers (10 goals), participated in is first U.S. National Team camp, but did not see any action in the opening three games.

By bringing in Gonzalez and Besler, the U.S. only got stronger on its backline because they have partner together on the last four World Cup qualifiers (3-0-1), which includes three consecutive wins.

Johnson is in second place on the U.S.ís all-time scoring list in qualifying with 11 goals.
