Injury sidelins defender for game with Mexico

CHICAGO - Tony Beltran has been added to the U.S. Men's National Team training camp roster in place of Brad Evans, who continues to recover from a calf injury suffered on March 15 while playing for Seattle Sounders against Toronto FC.

Beltran, a defender with Real Salt Lake in MLS, has earned two caps for the United States. The 2013 MLS All-Star was a member of the squad that captured the CONCACAF Gold Cup title last year. Klinsmann was in attendance for Real Salt Lake's 3-0 win against Toronto on Saturday, and informed Beltran following the match.

The U.S. will meet Mexico on Wednesday, April 2, at University of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale, Ariz.
