USMNT adds Pulisic, Zusi for Columbus WCQ

U.S. national team coach Jurgen Klinsmann Sunday added midfielders Graham Zusi from Sporting Kansas City and Christian Pulisic from Borussia Dortmund to the roster for the USA-Guatemala World Cup qualifying match in Columbus, Ohio, Tuesday.

Game 4 of Semifinal Round Qualifying for the 2018 FIFA World Cup kicks off in Columbus, Ohio, at 7 p.m. ET March 29 in Columbus, Ohio.

Zusi, a veteran of the 2014 FIFA World Cup, has earned 32 caps and tallied three goals. He last appeared for the U.S. in the third-place match of the 2015 Gold Cup.

Pulisic, 17, who will make his debut in a Senior National Team camp, played in the 2015 FIFA U-17 World Cup in Chile. He has appearances for Dortmund this season at the U-19, U-21 and first team levels.

Defender-midfielder Fabian Johnson has not made enough progress to be ready for the match, and has returned to Borussia Moenchengladbach for treatment on a groin injury sustained before his arrival in camp. Matt Besler will travel to Kansas City today after sustaining a concussion in training Thursday.
