U.S. women vie for CONCACAF U-20 title

GUATEMALA CITY, Guatemala -- The U.S. Under-20 Women’s National Team fulfilled its goal of qualifying for the FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup by virtue of a 2-1 semifinal victory against Costa Rica at Estadio Cementos Progreso on Jan. 28.

Second-half goals from Kristie Mewis and Teresa Noyola put the team ahead before Costa Rica’s Raquel Rodriguez Cedeño pulled one back for the Ticas.

The U.S. will take on Mexico in the tournament final at 5:30 p.m. ET on Saturday. The match will be televised live on Fox Sports en Español, streamed live on Fans can also follow along live on’s MatchTracker.

The final will also be shown on tape delay on Fox Soccer Channel at 5 p.m. ET Sunday.
