Davies returns to training at Sochaux

SOCHAUX, France -- U.S. international forward Charlie Davies, who hasn't played since October, Monday returned to training at his French First Division club Sochaux.

Davies, 23, suffered severe injuries in a fatal car accident in which he was a passenger in northern Virginia Oct. 13.

Davies, who starred at Boston College, went for a jog Monday morning, according to the club.

He will work with a physiotherapist and is scheduled to train with the team in two to four weeks.

Davies, who still has hopes of making the U.S. National Team for the World Cup, completed his rehab from injuries last Thursday.

He suffered a ruptured bladder, a fractured elbow, broken tibia and femur and facial injuries in the accident.
