Ex-Rev Dempsey stuns England

Former New England Revolution midfielder Clint Dempsey scored the equalizer in the U.S. National Team’s 1-1- tie with England in their World Cup match on Saturday, earning New England Soccer News Goal of the Week honors for the week ending June 13.

Dempsey’s 25 yard shot in the 40th minute trickled through the hands of English goalkeeper Roberto Green, for one of the biggest goals in U.S. history.
