The USA Bid Committee submitted five volumes of its bid books to FIFA in May.

Here's a quick summary of the five volumes, which takes up 1,250 pages and weigh 16 lbs.

Volume 1 (red)

This book has an introduction and sections on the hosting concept, football development, sustainable social development and environment protocol.

Volume 2 (blue)

This book is strictly about the stadiums.

Volume 3 (yellow)

This book encompasses the venue-specific team hotels and venue-specific training sites, team base camps, accommodations and FIFA headquarters

Volume 4 (green)

This book has transportation, information technology, communications network, safety and security, health and medical services, FIFA Confederations Cup, media facilities and marketing rights, finance and insurance, the political system and existing contracts.

Volume 5 (gray)

This book has bid book information templates and electronic bidding documents.
