Galaxy, Dynamo bounced out
RICHMOND KICKERS 1, LOS ANGELES GALAXY 0
RICHMOND, VA – David Bullow scored the only goal to give the Richmond Kickers a 1-0 upset win over the Los Angeles Galaxy in the third round of the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup.
A crowd of 4,578 was on hand at the University of Richmond Stadium as the USL2 team toppled the MLS squad.
The Kickers will face the winner of the Chicago Fire-Carolina RailHawks (USL1) Third Round match up slated for Sunday, July 15th.
NEW ENGLAND REVOLUTION 4 ROCHESTER RAGING RHINOS 2
ROCHESTER, N.Y. -- Steve Ralston converted a free kick and penalty kick and Taylor Twellman scored twice as the Revolution took a 4-2 win over the Rochester Raging Rhinos in a U.S. Open Cup game Tuesday night.
Ralston's 19th-minute free kick and Twellman's 67th-minute score gave New England a 2-0 lead, but the Rhinos gained momentum midway through the second half and Hamed Diallo tied the score with goals in the 76th and 86th minutes.
Twellman headed in Ralston's free kick to break a 2-2 tie in the 90th minute, then earned a penalty off a feed from Wells Thompson, Ralston scoring the final goal in the third minute of injury time.

CHARLESTON, SC--- Stephen Armstrong scored on a penalty kick in the 106th minute to give the Charleston Battery a 1-0 win over the Houston Dynamo in the Third Round of the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup Tuesday.
COLORADO RAPIDS 3, CALIFORNIA VICTORY 1
COMMERCE CITY, Colo---Jose Cancela and Herculez Gomez each had a goal and an assist to lead the Colorado Rapids to a 3-1 win over the California Victory at Dick’s Sporting Goods Park.
Cancella gave the Rapids a 1-0 lead in the 22nd minute on a curling free kick, then set up Gomez’s header in the 50th minute for a 2-0 Rapids lead.
Juan Epitie pulled one back for the USL1 side in the 79th minute bouncing a shot off the psot and past Zach Thornton.Gomez set up Omar Cummings in the 89th to punctuate the win.
FC DALLAS 1, ATLANTA SILVERBACKS 1 (4-3pks)
FRISCO, Tx---FC Dallas converted four penalty kicks to outlast the Atlanta Silverbacks 4-3 in the tiebreaker after a 1-1 draw in regulation Monday night.
Dallas forward Carlos Ruiz finally broke a 10-game scoring drouth with a sizzler to the far side of the net in the 74th minute after picking up a long kick from Dallas goalie Dario Sala, credited with the assist.
Atlanta’s Daniel Antoniuk struck for the equalizer just four minutes later, deflecting the flight of a 40-yard free kick from Rodrigo Rios that went straight down the center of the field to Antoniuk in the six-yard box.
