U.S. Women's National Team forward and Boston resident Kristine Lilly will receive the National Soccer Coaches Association of America's honorary All-America award at the organization's annual convention in Baltimore Saturday, Jan. 19.

Lilly, 36, will receive the honors at the NSCAA All-America luncheon.

A native of Wilton, Conn., Lilly has played in more international matches (340) than any other person -- man or woman -- on the planet. She has appeared in all five Women's World Cups -- winning twice (1991 and 1999) and performed for a pair of Olympic gold-medal winning sides (1996 and 2004).

Lilly, who performed in the most recent Women's World Cup in China in September, reportedly has not decided whether she will return to play in the Olympics in China in August.
