COMMERCE CITY, Colo.—Alex Morgan led the way with two goals and two assists as the U.S. Women’s National Team said farewell to departing coach Pia Sundhage with a 6-2 win over Australia Wednesday in front of a sellout crowd of 18,589 at Dick’s Sporting Goods Park.

Sundhage, who is returning to her native Sweden to coach that country’s women’s national team, closes out her five-year USWNT stint with a record of 91-6-10, having coached the team to back-to-back Olympic Gold Medals and their first Women’s World Cup Final in 12 years.

Heather O'Reilly opened the scoring for the USA in the 25th minute, but Australia came back to take a 2-1 lead behind goals from Lisa de Vanna (32nd minute) and Sarah Walsh (34th), who was playing her last game for the Matildas.

Morgan leveled the score in the 42rd minute, and set the table for Wambach’s game-winner in the 53rd. Morgan completed her brace in the 63rd minute, giving her 34 goals in only 51 international matches, before Shannon Boxx (69th) and Sydney Leroux (82nd) rounded out the scoring, both off assists from Megan Rapinoe.
